Universal Orlando Resort has announced that a new Wicked-themed overlay will be coming to one of its most popular attractions at Islands of Adventure. The overlay will feature music, lighting effects, and character encounters inspired by the hit Broadway musical and upcoming film adaptation.
The experience is expected to debut in late 2025 and will run for a limited time. Universal has not yet confirmed which specific attraction will receive the overlay, but fans are speculating it could be one of the park's signature rides.
This announcement comes as Universal prepares for the grand opening of Epic Universe, its ambitious new theme park, which is set to open in 2025.
